Pascal's Principle
The aim of these tests was to obtain certainty that a cylinder with a conical cavity and a movable base that replaces a piston exerts the same force as the piston of a standard hydraulic cylinder.
The evidence was conclusive
In this test, since the thrust point was located 220 mm between axles, the actual thrust was 220 mm: 406 kg
Test at 7 bar pressure
Similarly, since the thrust point was 220 mm between axles, the actual thrust was 220 mm: 1,025 kg
Test at 9 bar pressure
For the same reason, the actual thrust was of 1,465 kg
It was the result of these tests that encouraged us to make calculations that led us to be certain that retrofitting this system with surplus energy that can be used for other purposes is feasible.
This made us rethink the project with high optimism and approach the construction of the current system.
